Here is the recently-filed lawsuit, Pantor v. City of New York and Green Key Resources (filed NY Cty. 9/9/15, Index # 159257/2015), in which plaintiff alleges that she was subjected to sexual harassment by her supervisor at the City of New York Office of the Actuary, and then retaliated against for rejecting his advances.
Specifically, plaintiff alleges (among other things) that John R. Gibney, Jr., the Assistant Deputy Chief Actuary and plaintiff’s supervisor, told her to do a computer search resulting in her seeing scantily-clad women and and engaged in “verbal sexual harassment” by telling plaintiff that “he could have an affair and suffer no consequences akin to a President of the United States”, and further that she was fired in retaliation for her complaint against Gibney.
She asserts claims for discrimination, sexual harassment, hostile work environment, and retaliation under the New York City and New York State Human Rights Laws.
