Here is the complaint recently filed by Natasha Reyes against the City of New York. She alleges that while sledding in Riverside Park, “she was caused to sustain severe and serious injuries when her sled went through a hay barrier and into a park bench that was located immediately behind the barrier.”
She claims, among other things, that the City violated various statutes, including sections 27-127 and 27-128 of the New York City Administrative Code and section 1-03 of the Rules and Regulations of the New York City Department of Parks and Recreation.
